The new science building will be a 123,570 SF freestanding five-story building with a 6th floor mechanical penthouse. The new building includes a steel moment frame structure constructed on spread footings and short aggregate piers with brick cladding, precast stone, metal panels and glass assembly that will serve as the new Science Building for Winston Salem State University. The new building will include lecture hall, classroom, laboratory, and office spaces.
